Analytics services
Google Analytics
RX Deutschland GmbH uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc. (Google). Google Analytics uses "cookies” which are saved on your device to help the websites analyse how users use them. This cookie-based information on how you use the websites is then sent to a Google server in the USA where it is stored. However, if IP anonymisation is enabled on the websites, your IP address is first truncated by Google within the member states of the European Union and other parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be sent to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. Google uses this information on behalf of RX Deutschland GmbH to evaluate your use of the websites, to compile reports on website activities and to provide RX Deutschland GmbH with further services associated with the use of the websites and the Internet.
The IP address sent by Google Analytics from your browser will not be combined with any other data by Google.
You may prevent cookies from being saved by making the appropriate setting in your browser. RX Deutschland GmbH uses the marketing and remarketing services ("Google Marketing Services") of Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA ("Google"), on the basis of its legitimate interest, i.e. interest in analysis, optimisation and economic operation of its websites as defined in Article 6 para. 1 sentence 1 f GDPR.

The Google marketing services allow RX Deutschland GmbH to display advertisements for and on its websites in a more targeted manner in order to present users only with advertisements that potentially correspond to their interests. In cases in which users are shown e.g. ads for products they have shown an interest in on other websites, this is referred to as "remarketing". Google executes a Google code for this when users call up websites on which Google marketing services are active, and remarketing tags (invisible graphics or codes) are integrated into the website. With their help, an individual cookie is stored on the user's device or comparable technologies are used. Cookies can be set by various domains, including google.com, doubleclick.net, invitemedia.com, admeld.com, googlesyndication.com or googleadservices.com. This file records which websites the user has visited, which content s/he is interested in and which offerings s/he has clicked on. Furthermore, technical information is collected about the browser and operating system, linking websites, time of visit as well as further information about the use of the website. The users’ IP addresses are also recorded: RX Deutschland GmbH, within the framework of Google Analytics, indicates that the IP address must be truncated within member states of the European Union or in other signatory states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area and only in exceptional cases transferred in full to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. The IP address is not combined with the user's data within other Google services. Google may also link the above information to similar information from other sources. If the user then visits other websites, ads can be displayed which are tailored to his/her interests.
Users' data is processed in pseudonymised form within Google marketing services. This means that Google does not store and process e.g. the names or e-mail addresses of users, but processes the relevant data in relation to the cookies within pseudonymised user profiles. This means that, from Google's point of view, the ads are not managed and displayed for a specific person, but for the cookie holder, regardless of who this cookie holder is. This does not apply if a user has expressly permitted Google to process the data in non-pseudonymised form. The information collected by Google marketing services about users is transmitted to Google and stored on Google's servers in the USA.
One of the Google marketing services used by RX Deutschland GmbH is the online advertising program "Google AdWords". Each AdWords customer receives his or her own "conversion cookie". This prevents cookies from being traced via the websites of AdWords customers. The information collected by the cookie is used to generate conversion statistics for AdWords customers who have opted for conversion tracking. AdWords customers see the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a page with a conversion tracking tag. However, they will not receive any information that personally identifies users.
RX Deutschland GmbH can integrate third-party advertisements on the basis of the Google marketing service "AdSense". AdSense uses cookies to enable Google and its partner websites to place ads based on users' visits to these or other websites on the Internet.
Furthermore, RX Deutschland GmbH can use the "Google Tag Manager" to integrate and manage Google analysis and marketing services into the website.

Facebook Pixel, Custom Audiences und Facebook Conversion
On the basis of legitimate interest in, and for the purposes of, the analysis, optimisation and economic operation of the websites, the so-called "Facebook Pixel" of the social network Facebook, which is operated by Facebook Inc., 1 Hacker Way, Menlo Park, CA 94025, USA, or, if you are based in the EU, Facebook Ireland Ltd., 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland ("Facebook"), is used within the websites of RX Deutschland GmbH.
Facebook is certified under the Privacy Shield Agreement and thus guarantees compliance with European data protection law (https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt0000000GnywAAC&status=Active).
With the help of the Facebook Pixel, Facebook is able to determine the visitors of the website as a target group for the presentation of ads (so-called "Facebook ads"). Accordingly, RX Deutschland GmbH uses the Facebook Pixel to display the Facebook ads only to Facebook users who have also shown an interest in the website or who have certain characteristics (e.g. interest in certain topics or products as determined on the basis of the websites visited) that RX Deutschland GmbH transmits to Facebook (so-called "custom audiences"). Social media
Use of social media plug-ins
RX Deutschland GmbH uses the following social media plug-ins: [Facebook, Google+, Twitter, Xing, T3N, LinkedIn, Flattr]. RX Deutschland GmbH uses the two-click solution. This means that when you visit the RX Deutschland GmbH websites, no personal data is initially passed on to the providers of the plug-ins. The provider of the plug-in is recognisable from the marking on the box above its initial letter or from the logo. RX Deutschland GmbH allows you to communicate directly with the provider of the plug-in via the button. Only if you click on the marked field to enable it will the plug-in provider be informed that you have accessed the corresponding RX Deutschland GmbH website. The data specified in this declaration is also transmitted. Use of social media buttons with "Shariff".
RX Deutschland GmbH uses the "Shariff" c't project on its websites. "Shariff" replaces the usual share buttons of social networks and thus protects surfing behaviour
"Shariff" only includes these social network share buttons on RX Deutschland GmbH websites in the form of graphic elements which contain a link to the corresponding social network. - Your personal contact details (name, phone number & e-mail address) will not be published. This information will only be available to contacts with whom you have expressly arranged a meeting. These contacts will receive your contact details shortly before the event.
How is your information used?
Personally identifiable information is information that identifies you as an individual: your name, address, telephone number and e-mail address. This information may apply to you personally or to your workplace.
Matchmaking uses your information to match you with other people and companies that match your criteria and participate in events for which you have registered.
Information we receive from third parties
Your personally identifiable information may come from information provided to us by third parties such as an event, exhibition or conference management company. Your personal data will only be used in connection with the event from which the data originates. In most cases, your profile information will be generated from the answers you provided when registering for an event, or from the information you posted in the exhibition catalogue / on the showcase website.
Updating your personal information
Matchmaking contains a 'Manage your profile' page in your user account. Here you can update all information we store about you. If you have problems accessing the system, please contact us at help@meetingsprogramme.com.
Information sharing
Matchmaking will ONLY share your information with the organisers of the event. Any changes in your personal or demographic information may be forwarded to the organisers and their registration systems to maintain data consistency and accuracy.
Confirmed contacts will receive your contact details shortly before the fair in order to be able to contact you during the event.
Use of cookies
Matchmaking uses cookies to improve the user experience and tailor content to the individual user.
Matchmaking also uses cookies to track how users make use of our website. The tracking of cookies stores user information that cannot be identified, such as country of origin, type of Internet connection and pages visited on the website.
Users can disable cookies in their Internet browser. However, this may limit the visitor experience of our website. For more information on managing cookies, please refer to your browser's help pages.
Use of PayPal as payment method
If you decide to pay using the PayPal online payment service, your contact details will be transmitted to PayPal during the order process. PayPal is a service provided by PayPal (Europe) S.à.r.l. & Cie. S.C.A., 22-24 Boulevard Royal, L-2449 Luxembourg. PayPal acts as an online payment service provider and trustee, and offers buyer protection services.
The personal data transmitted to PayPal usually includes first name, last name, address, telephone number, IP address, e-mail address, or other data required for order processing, as well as data related to the order, such as number of articles, article number, invoice amount and taxes (as percentage), invoice information, etc.
This transfer is necessary to process your order using your selected payment method, in particular to confirm your identity and to manage your payment and the customer relationship.
NB: PayPal may also pass on personal data to service providers, subcontractors or other affiliated companies if this is necessary to fulfil the contractual obligations arising from your order or if PayPal contracts out the processing of your personal data.
Depending on the selected PayPal payment method, e.g. invoice or direct debit, the personal data transmitted to PayPal is forwarded by PayPal to credit agencies. The purpose of this is to verify your identity and creditworthiness with regard to the order you have placed. Use of Sofortüberweisung as payment method
If you decide to pay using the Sofortüberweisung online payment service, your contact details will be transmitted to Sofortüberweisung during the order process. Sofortüberweisung is a service provided by SOFORT GmbH, Theresienhöhe 12, 80339 Munich, Germany. Sofortüberweisung performs the function of an online payment service provider which enables cashless payment for products and services on the Internet.
The personal data transmitted to Sofortüberweisung usually includes first name, last name, address, telephone number, IP address, e-mail address, or other data required for order processing, as well as data related to the order, such as number of articles, article number, invoice amount and taxes (as percentage), invoice information, etc.
This transfer is necessary to process your order using your selected payment method, in particular to confirm your identity and to manage your payment and the customer relationship.

Use of profiling
RX Deutschland GmbH processes some of your data automatically for the purpose of evaluating certain personal aspects (profiling). RX Deutschland GmbH uses profiling in the following cases:
RX Deutschland GmbH uses evaluation instruments to provide you with targeted information and advice on products. These enable demand-based communication and advertising, including market and opinion research, and
RX Deutschland GmbH uses scoring to assess your creditworthiness. This calculates the probability with which a customer will meet his or her payment obligations as set out in the contract. The calculation may include, e.g., income, expenses, existing liabilities, occupation, length of employment, experience of the business relationship to date, contractual repayment of earlier loans and information from credit agencies. Scoring is based on a mathematically and statistically recognised and proven procedure. The calculated scores support RX Deutschland GmbH in making decisions and form part of the ongoing risk management process.
Hosting
RX Deutschland GmbH uses hosting services to provide the following services: infrastructure and platform services, computing capacity, storage and database services, security services and technical maintenance services used to operate this website.
For this, RX Deutschland GmbH or its hosting provider processes inventory data, contact data, content data, contract data, usage data, meta and communication data of customers, interested parties and visitors of this website on the basis of their legitimate interest in providing an efficient and secure website in accordance with Article 6 para. 1 sentence 1 f DSGVO in conjunction with Article 28 GDPR.
Collection of access data and log files
RX Deutschland GmbH, or its hosting provider, collects data on the server on which this service is located (so-called server log files) in the pursuit of its legitimate interests as defined in Article 6 para. 1 sentence 1 f GDPR. The access data includes the name of the accessed website, the file, the date and time of access, the amount of data transmitted, successful access notifications, the browser type and version, the user's operating system, the referrer URL (the previously visited page), the IP address and the requesting provider.
Log file information is stored for a maximum of 7 days for security reasons (e.g. to investigate misuse or fraud) and is subsequently deleted. Data which must be stored for longer for evidence purposes is not deleted until the incident in question has been finally resolved.
Data protection notice regarding the application process
RX Deutschland GmbH processes the applicant data only within and for the purpose of the application procedure in accordance with the legal requirements. Candidate data is processed in order to fulfil (pre)contractual application procedure obligations as defined in Article 6 para. 1 sentence 1 b GDPR and Article 6 para. 1 sentence 1 f GDPR, only if data processing is necessary, e.g. in the context of legal procedures.
The application procedure requires that applicants provide the relevant data. In cases where an online form is offered, the required applicant data is indicated, otherwise it is apparent from the job descriptions. Basically this includes personal details, postal and contact addresses and the documents relating to the application (such as cover letter, curriculum vitae and certificates). Applicants may also volunteer additional information.
By submitting their application, applicants agree to the form and scope of data processing as set out by RX Deutschland GmbH in this data protection declaration for the purposes of the application procedure.
If special categories of personal data as defined in Article 9(1) GDPR are voluntarily disclosed during the application procedure, they will also be processed in accordance with Article 9(2)(b) GDPR. If special categories of personal data as defined in Article 9 para. 1 GDPR are requested from applicants during the application procedure, they will also be processed in accordance with Article 9 para. 2 a GDPR.
Where applicable, candidates can submit their applications via an online form on the RX Deutschland GmbH website. State-of-the-art encryption is used for transmission of the data. Applicants may also submit their applications by e-mail. It should be noted, however, that e-mails are not encrypted by default and that the applicants themselves must ensure encryption. It is therefore recommended to use an online form or postal delivery.
The data provided by the applicants may be further processed by RX Deutschland GmbH in the event of a successful job application. Otherwise, if the application is unsuccessful, the applicants’ data will be deleted. Applicant data is also deleted if applicants withdraw their application, which they are entitled to do at any time.
Unless the applicant issues a justified revocation, the application will only be deleted after a period of six months. This allows any follow-up questions to the application to be answered, and any obligations to submit evidence stipulated in the Equal Treatment Act to be provided. Invoices for any reimbursement of travel expenses are archived in accordance with tax regulations.
Talent Pool
As part of the application process, RX Deutschland GmbH offers applicants the opportunity to be included in the "Talent Pool" for a period of two years upon giving their consent as defined in Article 6, paragraph 1, sentence 1 b and Article 7 of the GDPR.
The application documents in the talent pool are processed solely for the purposes of future recruitment and employee searches and will be deleted upon expiry of the deadline at the latest. Applicants are informed that their consent to inclusion in the talent pool is voluntary, that this has no influence on the current application process and that they can revoke this consent at any time for the future and declare their objection as defined in Article 21 of the GDPR.

These Cookie Guidelines currently apply and are valid as of May 2018.
